Booking Information

To confirm your booking we can take payment by credit, debit card or BACS using our on-line booking or via phone booking deposit button.

We cannot accept payment by cheque

A deposit is required for all bookings. The deposit will be a minimum of one night’s stay (depending on the length of the stay). The balance due 2- 4 weeks in advance of the booking depending on the time of year.

If booking direct please email to avoid confusion over dates.

In the event of cancellation, without prejudice to our right to retain the full charge, we will do our best to re-let the accommodation.

We can accommodate children over 10yrs of age. If all the rooms are booked by one party we can accept children of any age.

Smoking is not permitted, for the comfort of our guests.

We do not accommodate pets.

Checking In/Out Info

Arrival between 2.00 pm & 8.00 pm by arrangement. Please ring to discuss arrival outside of these times.

On morning of departure we ask if guests can vacate their rooms by 10.30am.

Once booked in guests have access to their rooms at all times.

This explains how we at The Greenway use any personal information we collect about you.

What information we collect

  • When you make a booking with us we collect the names of some or all of the guests who will be staying and the home address, email address and telephone number of the person making the booking. We also collect a debit or credit card number to take the deposit then balance for the full amount before your stay

How we use the information we hold

  • We use your home address as part of the card payment processing to validate the card.
  • We will use your email address to send you confirmation of the booking, details on how to find us and other information you may find useful for your stay.
  • We will not use your telephone number to contact you unless it is for an emergency or we have been unable to contact you by email.

How your data is stored

  • All of the personal and debit/credit card data you supply us, as part of an online booking, is stored securely on a third party system called Kashing .Neither we nor Kashing will share your information with any third party unless there is a legal reason for doing so.

Marketing

  • We like to stay in touch with guests to send information about our B&B including any special offers we may have or local events. We only send emails to people who have given us their express consent when completing their registration form after check in.
  • If you decide you do not want to receive any further emails please contact us at info@knaptoft.co.uk and we will not contact you again.

Guest Registration

  • We are required by law to collect the following information on all our guests. We do this by asking you to complete a registration form on arrival.
  • For commonwealth guests we require the name and nationality of all guests.
  • For non-commonwealth guests we require the name, nationality, passport number, address of next destination of all guests.
  • We are required to retain these registration forms for a year and show them to a police officer if they request to see them. We will destroy these forms 12 months after your stay.

  • You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you. If you would like to see this information please email us at info@knaptoft.co.uk

Excellent

"Excellent location for the venue (Shearsby Bath) where we were attending a party.
Theresa was an excellent host meeting us on arrival and showing us to our room.
Everything we needed was to hand including water and drinks tray. Iron and ironing board provided and if needed a microwave and crockery to hand.
Breakfast first class.
Overall we had a very relaxing stay will definitely visit if in area again."

Cosy and peaceful

"The location was perfect for the nearby Armourgeddon tank driving and tank museum. We turned up earlier than expected but this wasn't a problem and we were able to go straight to our room and have a cup of tea. Theresa was a friendly and very attentive host, she made sure that we had everything we needed and provided us with lots of information about where to have dinner and other places to visit the next day. The location was very peaceful. Our room was large, clean and homely with a very comfortable bed, an ensuite showroom and some thoughtful extras. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, highly recommend the full English! Overall a lovely peaceful stay. "
